WatchOutWeb.org is a queer twist to online entertainment. Viewers are given an opportunity to connect with positive images of alternative lifestyles through varying educational programming webcast formats such as comedy, drama, news, sports, lifestyle, and theatre/arts.

It is a positive on-line webcast for the GLBT community of healthy lifestyle programming for both the young and the old. Our goal is to become the best choice for the gay community for education/entertainment on the web. We proudly give back to the neighborhood through monetary, advertising, and programmed events.

This panel will discuss the emerging online entertainment industry using WOWTV.org as an example of how more and more 'grass-roots' programming is becoming the norm and staging to take over traditional television choices.

Award-winning gay writer and actor looks at slavery and time travel through a diverse lens in new dramatic web series SEND ME

Would you go back in time to slavery? That's the question at the center of the provocative new web series SEND ME, about a woman named Gwen (Tracie Thoms) who has the power to send fellow African Americans back to the plantation days as a way to build character and explore their family roots. Gabrielle Carteris (Beverly Hills, 90210) plays Gwen's friend and confidant who keeps the time-travel a secret. Based on a short story by Steve Harper, an award-winning TV writer, playwright and actor, the six-episode web series will go into production in early 2015.

Leon Acord-Whiting (OLD DOGS & NEW TRICKS), Steve Silverman (PRETTY: the Series), Kit Williamson & Jonh Halbach (EASTSIDERS) screen episodes & discuss the inspiration behind their series, getting beyond Season1 & the digital platforms used to bring the shows to their audiences.

"Paragon School for Girls" is a web series about a mysterious school located on a remote island. The series stars some of the funniest working actors. The panel includes Drew Droege (The Chloe videos, Drunk History), Sam Pancake (Cougar Town, Lovespring International), Jack Plotnick (Space Station 76, Girls Will Be Girls), Tom Lenk (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Witches of East End), Tom DeTrinis (30 Minute Musicals, 90210) and director Jim Hansen (who also directs the Chloe videos and upcoming gay-horror movie "You're Killing Me").

Just how much queerness can you really work into a network program, anyway? In this informative panel, Spiros Skentzos (GRIMM), Drew Greenberg (ARROW), Tamara Becher (SARAH CONNOR), Rafe Judkins (AGENTS OF SHIELD) discuss their careers, their insights, and their adventures in creating for mainstream movies and TV. 

A fundamental guide to creating a web series from idea to completion. Examples of successful web series will be shown and the panel will consist of a producer/writer/director, actor, cinematrographer and production insurance expert -- all currently working on products. The steps to creation will be discussed: writing the script, choosing a crew, finding locations, permits, casting, production, web festivals, raising funds.

Creators Jane Espenson and Brad Bell are joined by co-star Sean Hemeon to discuss the exciting future of their show Husbands. This sitcom about a newlywed couple who married too soon and are falling in love at their own pace has broken through the noise and established itself as a hit in a crowded marketplace. Just Us Guys is a YouTube Web series about a gay dad who has a best friend relationship with his straight son. The feeling for the show is "Gilmore Girls" with guys. Wanna watch some episodes?

Elsie is a Just Us Guys spinoff. She is a geek/nerd with a feisty attitude and she's slightly OCD. An episode was screened in the 2014 Salt Lake Comic Con Film Festival!
